Portrait Sizing / Prices

PORTRAIT SIZING / PRICING:

All the portrait sizes are standard sizes, but please do ask me to provide a quote for tailored, larger or bespoke sizes.

Sizes and prices displayed are for single animal subjects only on a plain or neutral background

Additional Subjects:

For portraits requiring two or more subjects I charge between £55 to £195 per additional subject (dependent upon the portrait size).  I only paint additional subjects on the 14 x10 inch size upwards, as I feel that you would lose too much detail in the portrait otherwise.  For example; a portrait containing 3 heads and necks would be best placed on the 16 x 12 inch size at least.  I have produced a 5 subject portrait of five heads and necks - this was painted on a 20 x 16 size.

Scenic Backgrounds:

For portraits requiring a more scenic or complex background I charge from £55 to £195 (again, dependent upon the portrait size).  A scenic background can really make a difference to the portrait's overall appearance.  Often, clients ask me to paint the entire reference photograph - this does take extra time and work, but it looks amazing at completion!
